When not writing, J.W. Lewis can often be found wandering through the woods (real or fictional), reading, or playing with her border collie, Fawkes. Â
My Story
Welcome to my Author's page! I am so excited that you are here and checking out my books. I am a new author and I have published a children's book which is based on my son, Marc and my Border Collie, Fawkes. I have four other dogs but Fawkes is my baby. She can usually be found herding Marc around and keeping a close eye on his whereabouts. I am also a high school English teacher and love working with my students to achieve their goals and full potential.

I have always loved to write and create stories. As a child, I would create elaborate stories for myself and imaginary friend to go on adventures that filled the loneliness. I bring all that creativity to my stories in both Children's literature and my Fantasy novels. I have two fantasy novels in the works and can't wait for you to see the world of Polara that I created.
